TESCO Engineering is a joint venture company with foreign partners that includes  ZONKE Engineering and the Badael Al -Bena Group based in the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia.

TESCO Engineering was created by a group of like-minded business orientated individuals of diverse but complimentary disciplines. Our joint vision is to create a company that will add value to clients operating within the Petrochemical and other specialized industries in KSA and in particular in Jubail.

TESCO Engineering is a niche product supplier whose business is focused on areas where we can add value to our clients. The company’s core expertise and competency lies in its alliance with world renowned companies that provide cutting edge technology and state-of-the-art products to the Petrochemical and other specialized industries. These alliances enable us to be a solution provider to our many clients in the industry by adding value to their businesses.

Saleh F. Al Nazha – Chairman

Saleh F. Al Nazha, a qualified Chemical Engineer with a long history of success in the Refining and Petrochemicals Middle East’s downstream sector.

He has previously worked as chief executive of SPC, chief executive of SEPC, as well as being the chairman of the National Technical Inspection and Testing Company.

Up until 2014, he was CEO of one of the largest industrial conglomerates in Saudi Arabia (TASNEE). His main responsibility during this time was the development and implementation of the Petrochemical division from scratch. By 2014 Tasnee was running, among other units, a major petrochemicals complex in Jubail – playing a pivotal role in this sector.

During this time he was also holding the position of President & Managing Director, as well as a Board Member of Saudi Polyolefins Co. (SPC) and Saudi Ethylene and Polyethylene Co. (SEPC).

Up until the end of 2014 Saleh F. Al Nazha was the Chairman of:

  1. National Petrochemical Industrialization Marketing Company.
  2. Saudi Acrylic Monomers Company (SAMCO) a joint venture with Dow of USA.
  3. Saudi Acrylic Polymers Company (SAPCO) a joint venture with Evonik of Germany.
  4. Saudi Acrylic Acid Company (SAAC).
  5. National Metal Manufacturing & Casting Company (MAADANIAH).
  6. National Lead Smelting Company (RASSAS).

And Board Member of:

  1. National Titanium Dioxide Company (CRISTAL).
  2. TASNEE & Sahara Olefins Company (TSOC).
  3. Tasnee Jubail Branch.
  4. Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA).

In addition, Engr. Al Nazha is a shareholder and Board Member of Hail Cement Company.
Prior to joining Tasnee in 1999, he worked for more than 17 Years with different companies of SABIC Group where he was Director of O&M Division with Eastern Petrochemical Co. (SHARQ) (1997-1999), Director of Technical Affairs with National Industrial Gases Co. (GAS) (1992-1997) and Petrochemical Company (KEMYA) (1982 –1992).

Engr. Al Nazha is a well known, trusted & highly influential Chemical Engineer in this field.  Due his efforts in Saudi’s downstream sector he was named 11th in the top Power 50 List of the most influential people in the downstream sector.


Mark Goedvolk – Managing Director

Mark Goedvolk, is the promoter of TESCO Engineering in Saudi Arabia. Actively involved in the success of the company since 2011, an entrepreneur by nature.

He has conducted international business in various bulk commodities and specialised engineering business across the globe, with offices based in South Africa, Saudi Arabia and Dubai.

His passion for the Engineering Services industry and vast knowledge of the Middle Eastern markets coupled with his experience with many diverse cultures and high level business contacts, made him the obvious choice to lead TESCO Saudi´s dynamic and diverse group of engineers and technicians.

He has a strong focus on providing unmatched technologies and services to the petrochem, Oil & Gas, Mining and other heavy Industries in Saudi Arabia.


Mohanad K. Al Gannas – Director

Mohanad is a Chemical Engineering graduate who has 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Steel manufacturing and Utilities with an emphasis on Engineering and Project Management.  His experience as Snr. Project Manager for global Engineering giants Invensys and Jacobs Engineering, coupled with his practical business operations experience in leading Saudi companies such as Tasnee , Jesco and Marafiq gives him insight into the demanding requirements of TESCO Engineering customers and a solid foundation in Project design, engineering and execution.

As a partner in TESCO Engineering, Mohanad brings an understanding of a broad section of key Clients in Saudi Arabia coupled with a drive to Saudization and a strong commitment to Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision. Mohanad’s key skills lie in his strong technical background in engineering practice and problem solving as well as his proven ability to lead technical teams to deliver results.
