Incoming Equipment Inspection

Upon receiving any faulty equipment to our facility, we conduct a Series of Inspection Procedures based on a detailed checklist to evaluate damage, wear, and potentially defected components.
The equipment is then subjected to Positive Material Identification (PMI) which assures that the materials in the existing components meet the specifications of the OEM specifications and are suitable for Designated Operational Conditions.
Equipment Dismantling

Once the defective equipment or component completes the incoming inspection process, it undergoes the Dismantling Procedure, during which our technicians meticulously disassemble and ultrasonically decontaminate each individual component in accordance with Industry-Leading Standards.
A comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is then performed, with all findings thoroughly documented for further analysis and reporting.

At TESCO Engineering, we implement rigorous inspection processes as soon as raw materials are received into our stores. We utilize state-of-the-art Positive Material Identification Tools to get the Accurate Material Composition Analysis, ensuring that all materials conform to required specifications. PMI analysis uses techniques like X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) to accurately identify material compositions, minimizing the risk of material failures and ensuring compliance with stringent engineering standards.

In specific cases, TESCO Engineering engages with its Distinguished Global Technical Partners to procure Custom-Engineered Components. Although these components are produced in adherence to Stringent International Quality Specifications, they undergo an exhaustive series of in-house testing, simulation, and validation procedures to Verify Their Interoperability, Functionality, and Performance within the defined operational parameters.
Our manufacturing process is designed for Precision and Reliability. During production, we maintain strict quality control measures, including the use of comprehensive Checklists and Quality Inspection Tools. This allows us to systematically track each step and ensure adherence to critical tolerances. We employ a variety of advanced tools to measure and monitor quality during manufacturing of each spare part:
-
Surface Roughness Testers
Offer a resolution of Ra 0.01 µm and can measure surface roughness with a tolerance of 1% of value + noise Repeatability.
-
Micro-Height Gauges
Capable of measuring with Indication Accuracy of (1.1 + 0.6L/600) µm, less than 1 µm and equipped with a digital screen for accurate measurement and recording.
-
Blade Micrometers
Capable of measuring with precision up to ±0.001 mm (1 µm). Blade micrometers are ideal for measuring narrow or tight spaces.
-
Monochromatic Light Band Inspection
A Highly precise method for detecting even the slightest surface imperfections, ensuring flawless component surfaces.
-
Dry Gas Seal Head Tester
Offers up to 350 kN load capacity with 420 mm Diameter, adjustable speeds (0.001–500 mm/min), and performs tensile, compression, bending, and fatigue tests with real-time monitoring and automated reporting.
To verify that reconditioned or manufactured parts meet the Precise Requirements, we employ 3D scanning technology. This method ensures that the components match the required dimensions with micron-level accuracy. Using 3D Laser Scanning, we capture Highly Detailed Digital Models of the parts, which are then compared to the original CAD specifications to ensure perfect fitment and functionality.
